This protein vanilla mug cake is literally made in seconds, and is the perfect sweet treat for any vanilla cake lover! High in protein and fiber, this is the ultimate healthy mug cake recipe.

  • 1 scoop vanilla pea protein powder (30g)
  • 2 tbsp oat flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp granulated sweetener of choice
  • 8-10 tbsp milk of choice
  • 1 tsp chocolate chips


  • Grease a microwave safe bowl or mug of choice with some oil spray. Add all ingredients above and combine well. You will have to adjust the almond milk according to your protein powder brand. You're looking for a slightly runnier texture.

For microwave

  • Microwave for 1-2 minutes in 30 second intervals. Middle should still be a little gooey.

For oven

  • Bake in oven at 180 degrees celsius for 12-15 minutes. Middle should still be gooey
