There are many reasons why we eat food. For sustenance. For pleasure. To emotionally self soothe. To feel happy. For comfort.
A lot of the time people tell me "I eat when I'm hungry and stop when I'm full, yet I still can't lose the weight".
This week I unpack what causes us to overeat, without sometimes even being aware of it.
When we rely on food to soothe our emotional needs, we end up feeling out of control when it comes to being around these foods. We become reactive and end up emotionally overeating, while not allowing us to feel our best within ourselves and our body.
