Flourless Protein Brownies

  • 2 bananas
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp oil of choice
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 3 Tbsp chocolate protein powder (I used pea protein powder)
  • 3/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/3 +2 Tbsp coconut sugar OR granulated sugar of choice
  • 1 egg OR flaxegg
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/4-1/2 cup chocolate chips

SEA SALT

  • -Add 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • Around 142 calories

ALMOND BUTTER

  • -Use almond butter
  • – Add 1/4-1/2 cup chopped almonds
  • Around 155 calories

MINT

  • -Add 1/4 tsp pure peppermint extract
  • Around 142 calories

BANANA CHOC

  • – Top with 1-2 sliced banana coins
  • Around 147 calories

CHOC-WALNUT

  • -Add 1/4-1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • Around 155 calories

CHOC-TAHINI

  • -Use pure Tahini instead of nut butter
  • -Top with optional pecans
  • Around 142 caloires
  1. Line a brownie tin and preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius.
  2. Place bananas in a high speed blender and blend until it forms a liquid. If you do not have a blender, you can mash it well with a fork.
  3. If your nut butter is firm, i suggest gently warming it to give it a slightly drippy texture to allow it to be easier to stir and combine
  4. Mix the nut butter, oil, egg/flaxegg & vanilla until if forms a wet mixture. Add the rest of the ingredients and combine well.
  5. Place in brownie tin and bake for roughly 20-25 mins until toothpicks come out slightly under.
  6. Leave to cool and slice into brownie squares
  7. Store in an airtight container in the fridge and enjoy!
