This has to be one of my favourite home-made pizza recipes! This is a quick and easy weeknight dinner (paired with some sides of corse) and is such a fun way to get the whole family involved through picking their own toppings! Here is one of my personal favourites, a low calorie spinach and feta pizza! Best served straight out the oven while the cheese is still melty!
Low Calorie Pizza
Now, if you’re someone that loves pizza and doesn’t want to compromise on the real deal- THAT IS PERFECTLY OKAY. I enjoy a normal crust pizza at least once a week and eat every single mouthful. However, I also make these low calorie spinach and feta pizzas often because it is super convenient and only takes a couple of minutes to throw together! The best part is, everyone in the family can customise their own pizza and choose their toppings!
Because this pizza uses one tortilla wrap as the base, it comes out perfectly crispy and delicious! It is perfect for when those pizza cravings kick in and you would like a slightly lighter version that doesn’t leave you bloated.
Spinach and Feta Pizza Recipe
This has to be one of my all time favourite pizza toppings! I love adding vegetable toppings to my pizza to get that extra fiber and vitamin boost! You can add any topping of choice that you prefer! I also love adding mushrooms, peppers, artichokes and all that!
Eat More For Less
This low calorie spinach and feta pizza is the ultimate volume eating hack! As you can see, one dominos spinach and feta pizza slice comes to 240 calories (1/8 pizza). Which is fine in itself, but I don’t know about you I often need at least 3-4 pizza slices to feel satisfied!
This recipe allows you to eat AN ENTIRE tortilla pizza for 221 calories! I personally love these volume eating hacks as they help you eat more food, while not compromising on flavour!
How To Make The Low Calorie Spinach and Feta Pizza:
Step 1: Top your tortilla with toppings
Line a baking tray with baking paper and place your tortilla on-top. Place your crushed tomato sauce, cheese, spinach, feta, garlic & oregano onto your tortilla.
Step 2: Bake in the oven & enjoy
Bake your pizza until the edges start to brown and the cheese has melted. Take out oven and slice into slices using a pizza cutter and enjoy
Best eaten when hot! I also like waiting it to cool then packing it in Miks lunchbox. The base doesn’t stay as crispy, but it is still a delicious idea!
