This has to be the birth of the ultimate healthy dessert recipe. Taking two classics and morphing them into one. The delicious crumbly apple texture of apple pie, mixed with the soft & creamy rich cheesecake.
With cheesecake flavours like cinnamon, apple, & vanilla what is not to love?

This cheesecake is the ultimate low-calorie cheesecake. With only 95 calories a serving, you can honestly have it every day. Compared to the cheesecake factory caramel apple cheesecake which comes in at 1210 calories per serving, this is a healthy, low calorie high protein cheesecake that is macro friendly and delicious!

No-Bake cheesecake

You know when you’re craving a cheesecake recipe and you open up the recipe book to see a long list of ingredients with instructions that are super complicated to follow? Yeah. This cheesecake is the exact opposite of that! Firstly, this no-bake cheesecake only has 4 main ingredients (spices don’t count)! It is also a no-bake recipe so there is no need for an oven, cooking time or anything of the sort! You can use plain apple sauce, or you can make your own! I make it by steaming apples and then pureeing them to for apple puree

Cheesecake for breakfast?

Can you believe that this cheesecake is high protein, low calorie and packed with all the good stuff?

I often have this apple pie cheesecake for breakfast, and it tastes like having creamy apple pie. I like to have 2-3 servings of the recipe, as the serving size is not adapted to a meal size, but rather a healthy snack! I find the protein from the cottage cheese & the healthy fats helps keep me full for the whole morning, while getting all the vitamin benefits from the apples!

How do you make the no bake cheesecake

The Ingredients

Smooth Cottage Cheese- This is the key to making the cheesecake high-protein! If you do not have access to smooth cottage cheese, you can take chunky plain cottage cheese and blend it up in a high speed blender. I recommend using low-fat, but full cream works as well.

Apple puree- You can use plain apple sauce, or you can make your own! I make it by steaming apples and then pureeing them to for apple puree

Powdered granulated sweetener of choice- Made by blending up your favourite granulated sweetener or sugar of choice until it forms a fine powder

Base of choice- You can use any granola or meusli of choice. I used my home-made granola.

Cinnamon- This is the magic that makes it have that fall recipe feel! You can replace it with equal parts of cinnamon if preferred

(Optional) Vanilla extract- To add that delicious vanilla flavour while not being over powering!

Method:

1.

In a high speed blender or food processor, combine all the ingredients above.

Take 3 mini mason jars and fill the base of each with 2 tsp granola of choice

Top it off with your cheesecake filling and place it in the fridge to set for a minimum of 1 hour.

Cranberry: Top off your cheesecake with some cranberries & chopped apples

Choc chip: Top off your cheesecake with some chopped apples & cho chips

Caramel: Top your cheesecake with some chopped apple and 1 tsp honey and 1/2 tsp nut butter (mixed before putting on-top)

Extra apples: Make the original recipe below, top off with extra sliced apples

Vanilla: Make the original recipe below, be sure to add the vanilla extract.

Ingredients
  

  • cups smooth low fat cottage cheese 250g
  • ½ cup apple puree/ apple sauce 75g
  • ¼ cup granulated sweetener of choice 50g
  • 6 tsp granola/ muesli of choice

Instructions
 

  • In a high speed blender of food processor, combine all ingredients
  • Line 3 jars with 2 tsp granola each, and top with your cheesecake mixture
  • Place in fridge to set for a minimum of 1 hour

Notes

This no bake apple pie cheesecake recipe is best served chilled. If you prefer a thicker consistency, refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours.
